About English for Global Business
English for Global Business provides self-paced online English courses and learning materials for professional communication.
Our current course is Business English for Work.
Business English for Work is designed for adult professionals who use English as an additional language. It includes short lessons about workplace emails, meetings, and presentations.
Who may use the course
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a course or create a learner account.
When you create an account or make a purchase, the information you provide must be accurate and belong to you.
Purchasing Business English for Work
Business English for Work is sold as a one-time purchase.
There is no subscription and no recurring course payment.
The price that applies to your purchase will be shown on the sales page and at checkout before you pay.
English for Global Business may change prices or offer promotions for future purchases. A later price change does not change the price of a purchase you have already completed.
Payments are processed through our payment provider. English for Global Business does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
Course access
Your one-time purchase includes lifetime access to Business English for Work while English for Global Business continues to host and make the course available.
“Lifetime access” does not mean that English for Global Business guarantees that the website, business, or course will operate indefinitely.
Your purchase includes the version of Business English for Work that you buy and any minor updates that English for Global Business chooses to add to that course.
Your purchase does not automatically include:
- future courses;
- major replacement versions of the course;
- tutoring or coaching;
- future products or services; or
- other materials that are sold separately.
Your learner account
Your learner account is for your personal use.
You are responsible for keeping your password and account information secure.
Please do not give another person access to your account or allow another person to use the course through your account.

Personal use of course materials
Your purchase gives you permission to use Business English for Work and its course materials for your own learning.
Unless English for Global Business gives you written permission, you may not:
- copy or reproduce substantial parts of the course;
- share course videos, downloads, or restricted materials with other people;
- publish course materials online;
- sell, sublicense, or redistribute course materials;
- give or sell your course account to another person;
- record or reproduce restricted course content for distribution; or
- use course materials to create or sell another course, product, or service.
You may use downloadable materials provided by the course for your own personal learning.
Intellectual property
The website, course videos, lesson content, written materials, graphics, downloads, and other original course materials are owned by or licensed to English for Global Business and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Buying the course gives you access to use the materials as described in these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of the course content or intellectual property to you.
Refunds
Business English for Work has a 14-calendar-day refund period.
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your purchase.
There is no course-usage restriction on this refund. You do not lose your right to request a refund simply because you have opened lessons or used part of the course during the 14-day period.
After a refund is issued, your paid access to the course may be removed.

Course and website availability
We aim to keep the website and course available and working correctly, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
Access may sometimes be affected by maintenance, technical problems, security issues, internet-service problems, third-party services, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
English for Global Business may make reasonable technical, design, security, or content changes to the website and course.
We may also correct errors or update course materials when appropriate.
Educational results
Business English for Work is an educational course.
The course is designed to help learners use practical English in workplace emails, meetings, and presentations. Individual results will vary.
English for Global Business does not guarantee a particular employment result, promotion, salary increase, level of fluency, or other personal or professional outcome from using the course.
Acceptable use
You may not use the website, learner account, or course in a way that:
- violates the law;
- interferes with the website or its security;
- attempts to gain unauthorized access to another account or restricted part of the website;
- introduces malicious software or harmful code;
- uses automated systems to copy or collect restricted course content; or
- infringes the rights of English for Global Business or another person.
